A police officer pulled over a car for speeding and walked up to the driver’s window.
“Sir, may I see your driver’s license?”
The driver sighed. “I don’t have one. It got suspended after my fifth DUI.”
The officer narrowed his eyes. “Alright… can I see the registration?”
“Not my car,” the driver said casually. “I stole it.”
The officer stiffened. “You stole this car?”
“Yep,” said the driver. “But I think I saw the registration in the glove box, right next to my gun.”
“There’s a gun in the glove box?!”
“Yes, sir. That’s where I put it after I shot the woman who owns this car and stuffed her in the trunk.”
The officer slowly stepped back and immediately called for backup.
Within minutes, several patrol cars arrived, lights flashing. A captain got out and approached the driver carefully.
“Sir, may I see your license?”
The driver handed it over. It was valid.
“And this car?” asked the captain.
“Mine,” said the driver. “Here’s the registration.”
Everything checked out.
“Would you open the glove box? We were told there was a gun inside.”
“Sure,” said the driver. “But there’s no gun.”
The glove box was empty.
“Now open the trunk, please.”
The driver popped it open. Empty.
The captain turned to the officer, confused. “He said you told him you had no license, stole the car, had a gun in the glove box, and a body in the trunk.”
The driver shook his head and smirked.
Driver: “Yeah, and I bet the liar told you I was speeding too!”
