A man and a woman were enjoying a romantic candlelit dinner at an elegant restaurant.
Everything seemed perfectly normal until the waitress noticed something rather strange.
The man was slowly sliding down in his chair.
First, his shoulders disappeared below the table.
Then his head.
And a few seconds later, he was completely out of sight!
The waitress stared in disbelief.
Even stranger, the woman across from him didn’t seem bothered at all. She simply continued eating her dinner as though nothing had happened.
Concerned, the waitress hurried over to the table.
She leaned toward the woman and whispered politely,
“Excuse me, ma’am… I think your husband just slipped under the table.”
The woman calmly took another sip of her water, smiled, and replied,
“No… he didn’t.”
She nodded toward the restaurant entrance and added,
“My husband just walked through the front door.” 😂
