The housewife was having her TV repaired, and from the moment the repairman arrived, he was having serious trouble concentrating on the television.
Every time she walked into the room, he looked up so quickly he nearly twisted his neck.
She noticed.
Of course she noticed.
At one point, he spent almost five minutes pretending to inspect the back of the TV while actually watching her reflection in the dark screen.
Eventually, he managed to finish the repair.
She paid him, thanked him, then stood there for a moment as if she had something else on her mind.
Finally, she lowered her voice.
“I’m going to make a well unusual request. But you have to first promise me you’ll keep it a secret. ”
The repairman’s eyes widened.
He nodded immediately.
The housewife continued.
“Well, it’s kind of embarrassing to talk about, but while my husband is a kind, decent man he has a certain physical weakness.
A certain disability. Now, I’m a woman and you’re a man. ”
The repairman suddenly forgot all about televisions.
His heart started pounding.
He leaned forward eagerly.
“Yes! Yes!”
She stepped a little closer and continued.
“And since I’ve been wanting to ever since you came in the door.”
The repairman could barely contain himself.
“Yes; yes!”
She smiled sweetly, pointed toward the kitchen and said,
“Would you help me move the refrigerator?”
