I was out running today when a minivan drove past me.
A teenage boy leaned out the window and yelled, “Run, fat ass!”
I was already trying not to laugh when I noticed the van suddenly slow down.
His dad turned the car around.
Then he made his son get out and run the last six blocks with me while he followed alongside in the minivan.
I was laughing so hard I could barely keep running.
The kid learned a valuable lesson that day:
Think twice before making fun of someone who’s exercising…
because Dad might turn your insult into a six-block workout.
Now THAT is what I call hands-on parenting!
