A man had been sitting at the bar drinking for several hours when he casually mentioned that his girlfriend was waiting outside in the car.

Since the weather was freezing, the bartender became concerned.

“You left her out there in this cold?” he asked.

The man simply nodded and ordered another drink.

Worried, the bartender stepped outside to make sure she was all right.

When he looked through the car window, he was shocked to see the man’s girlfriend passionately kissing his best friend, Dave.

Shaking his head, the bartender returned inside.

He leaned toward the drunk man and said carefully:

“I think you should go outside and check on your girlfriend.”

The man slowly climbed off his stool, staggered toward the door, and made his way to the car.

A few moments later, he came back into the bar laughing uncontrollably.

The bartender stared at him in disbelief.

“What’s so funny?”

The drunk man pointed toward the parking lot and chortled:

“That stupid Dave! He’s so drunk, he thinks he’s me!!!”
