A five-year-old girl was visiting her grandma one afternoon while Grandma dusted the furniture.

The little girl played with her dolls for a while before suddenly looking up.

“Grandma, how come you don’t have a boyfriend?”

Grandma smiled.

“Oh, sweetheart, I do!”

The girl’s eyes widened.

“Really? Who is he?”

Grandma pointed proudly toward the television.

“My TV is my boyfriend!”

“I sit in my room and watch it all day. The preachers keep me company, the comedies make me laugh, and I’m perfectly happy with my TV boyfriend.”

The little girl nodded thoughtfully.

“That makes sense.”

Just then, the TV picture suddenly went fuzzy.

Grandma sighed, walked over, adjusted the knobs, and started tapping the back of the television

Nothing.

She tapped it again.

Still nothing.

At that exact moment, the doorbell rang.

The little girl ran downstairs and opened the door.

Standing there was Grandma’s minister.

“Hello, young lady. Is your grandma home?”

“Yep!” the girl replied cheerfully.

“She’s upstairs in the bedroom…”

The minister smiled.

“Oh, wonderful. Could you tell her I’m here?”

The little girl nodded.

Then she innocently added:

“Sure! She’s upstairs bangin’ her boyfriend!”

The minister froze.

His eyes widened.

Then he slowly sat down.

Meanwhile, Grandma finally smacked the TV one last time.

The picture came back.

She smiled proudly.

“See? Sometimes you just have to give your boyfriend a good whack!”
