A beautiful woman looked up at her doctor and asked softly, “Won’t you kiss me, doctor?”
The doctor immediately shook his head.
“No,” he said firmly. “That would be against my professional code of ethics.”
The woman smiled sweetly and leaned a little closer.
“Please,” she said. “Just one kiss.”
The doctor took a deep breath and tried to remain serious.
“I’m sorry,” he replied. “It’s completely out of the question. A doctor must maintain proper boundaries with his patients.”
The woman looked disappointed.
“Not even one little kiss?” she asked.
The doctor shook his head again.
“Absolutely not,” he said. “It would be improper, unethical, and entirely unacceptable.”
She sighed and looked away.
For a moment, the room was silent.
Then the doctor added:
“To be honest, I probably shouldn’t even be having sex with you.”
