One morning, a man was out jogging when he noticed two tennis balls lying near the side of the road.
He slowed down, picked them up, and placed them inside the pockets of his running shorts before continuing on his way.
A few minutes later, he stopped at a crosswalk and waited for the traffic light to change.
Standing beside him was a beautiful blonde woman who kept glancing at the noticeable bulges in his shorts.
After a moment, she smiled and asked:
“Excuse me, but what are those big bulges in your running shorts?”
The man smiled back and replied casually:
“Tennis balls.”
The blonde’s expression immediately changed. She looked shocked and genuinely concerned.
“Wow,” she said, shaking her head sympathetically. “That must hurt.”
Then she added:
“I once had tennis elbow and the pain was unbearable.”
