The Warning in the Woods

Two friends were walking through the woods one afternoon, taking a shortcut back toward town.

They were joking, laughing, and arguing about which path was faster, when suddenly they reached a small clearing.

There, completely unexpectedly, they saw a beautiful woman sunbathing with no clothes on.

One of the men froze for half a second, then suddenly turned around and ran as fast as he could in the opposite direction.

His friend stared after him in confusion.

“Hey!” he shouted. “Where are you going?”

But the man kept running.

After a few moments, his friend caught up with him, breathing heavily.

“What on earth was that about?” he asked. “Why did you run away like that?”

The first man looked nervous and embarrassed.

“My mother always warned me,” he said, “that if I ever looked at a naked woman, I’d turn to stone.”

His friend frowned. “And you believed that?”

The man swallowed hard and replied:

“Well, I already felt something getting hard.”
