A man came running home from work one evening, looking more excited than he had in years.

As soon as he walked through the door, he grabbed his wife by the hand and pulled her quickly toward the bedroom.

She was completely shocked.

Before she could ask what was going on, he hurried her inside, pushed the door shut, and pulled her toward the bed.

Then he threw her onto the mattress and climbed in beside her.

His wife could hardly believe it.

After twenty years of quiet evenings, routine conversations, and early nights, her husband was suddenly acting like a young man again.

Her heart started racing.

Then he pulled the blankets up over both of them, making sure they were completely covered.

The room became dark beneath the covers.

The wife stared at him in surprise, wondering what had gotten into him after all these years.

Then her husband lifted his wrist proudly and whispered:

“Look! My new watch glows in the dark.”
