Two nuns were walking through the woods one afternoon when they suddenly heard a loud growl behind them.
They turned around and froze.
A huge bear had appeared between the trees and was now charging straight toward them.
Without saying another word, both nuns lifted their habits slightly and started running as fast as they could down the path.
The bear was getting closer with every second.
One nun, already out of breath, glanced over at the other and cried, “Sister, do you really think we can outrun that bear?”
The other nun kept running, focused and determined.
After a moment, she replied:
“I don’t have to outrun the bear, Sister.”
The first nun looked confused. “What do you mean?”
The second nun said:
“I only have to outrun you.”
