There once was a very protective farmer who had three beautiful daughters.

One Friday night, all three girls were going out on their very first dates.

Naturally, the farmer wasn’t too thrilled about the idea.

So he decided to sit on the front porch cleaning his shotgun while he waited for the boys to arrive.

Before long, the first young man walked up to the house and nervously said:

“Hi sir, my name’s Joe.
I’m here for Flo.
We’re going to the show.
Is she ready to go?”

The farmer stared at him for a moment… then nodded.

A little corny, but harmless enough.

So Joe and Flo headed off on their date.

A while later, the second boy arrived.

“Good evening, sir. My name’s Eddy.
I’m here for Betty.
We’re gonna eat spaghetti.
Is she ready?”

The farmer squinted suspiciously for a second… then shrugged.

“Alright,” he muttered.

Off went Eddy and Betty.

Finally, the third boy walked up the driveway.

He smiled and said:

“Hi sir, my name’s Chuck—”

and “BANG” the farmer shot him.
