A police officer had discovered the perfect hiding spot for catching speeding drivers on a busy highway.

His patrol car was completely hidden behind a bend, and his radar had caught countless speeders there before.

So, one Labor Day weekend, he returned to his favorite spot, switched on his radar, and waited.

Thirty minutes passed. Then an hour.

Not a single speeding car!

Every driver seemed to be following the speed limit perfectly. Some even smiled and waved as they passed.

The officer scratched his head.

“Something’s definitely not right here!”

Curious, he got out of his car and walked up the road to investigate.

About a hundred yards away, he spotted a ten-year-old boy holding a huge homemade sign that read:

RADAR TRAP AHEAD

The officer couldn’t believe his eyes!

Shaking his head, he continued walking past his hidden patrol car.

Another hundred yards down the road, he discovered a second boy holding a sign that read:

TIPS

And at his feet was a bucket full of change.
