A woman was leaving for a business conference in Italy, and her husband drove her to the airport.
Before heading inside, she gave him a kiss and asked,
“Thanks for the ride, honey! What would you like me to bring you back from Italy?”
Her husband grinned mischievously.
“An Italian girl!”
She rolled her eyes, laughed, and headed off to catch her flight.
A week later, her husband picked her up at the airport.
“Welcome back, sweetheart! How was Italy?”
“Wonderful!” she replied. “Great food, beautiful sights, and a fantastic conference!”
He smiled.
“Glad to hear it! So… what about my present?”
She looked puzzled.
“What present?”
He chuckled.
“You know! The Italian girl I asked you to bring back!”
“Oh, that,” she says
“Well, I did what I could
Now we have to wait nine months to see if it’s a girl.”
